Well no, the narrative is incorrect then. The narrative of the tweet was that Trump caused them to throw out a day's worth of product by not wearing a mask.
The reality is that they chose to waste a day of production by allowing him to tour the facility, planning for the factory to only operate for the time he was there. No private business has to let the president into it.
The business is who I am more upset with. The swabs are scarce and they opted to waste a day of production. Obviously we can be upset with Trump for wanting the photo op over the value of a day's worth of production, but these are two very different narratives than what the original tweet offered, and that's disappointing given that the author of the tweet is an editor.
