As to the op, I don't know anything about the show. I guess, in a nutshell, if it promotes pedophilia I'm against it. But there is a difference in discussing it (if it does) and promoting it.

Unfortunately, the worthwhile cause (ending pedophilia) has largely been derailed as a campaign issue. 

Is the show a fictional scripted drama? Or is it a documentary? I would think there's nothing wrong with looking at the issue as a documentary, but when you make a fictional show, even to highlight an issue, it can get lost in plotlines, marketing, and audience reactions.
