He ended a compliment to citizens of a state by saying this: "You have good genes in Minnesota"

So obviously that means;

He wasn't talking to the people of the state of Minnesota, of which 20% are other than non-Hispanic white. He was only talking about the white that attended his rally. 


He most likely would have gotten a pass from those TWISTING HIS WORDS if he would have just said:

"If you don't vote for me, then you ain't white"
