Interesting Tax Idea From Australia

This is a tax statement in Australia that shows you exactly where your taxes went to (Found on Reddit). I feel like this kind of transparency here would potentially change the way a lot of people view their elected officials. We get told that our tax money is going to this or that, but this kind of breakdown putting it in more personal terms I think would help people understand better how their officials are spending their money. 

I wonder how many people would shit a brick when they saw how much of their money is going to the military versus other items?
