On a bigger scale, this is a set up to attempt to claim that the vote wasn't actually certified for more propaganda. Again, this is a coup attempt, and even as poorly as it is being planned and executed it needs to be viewed for what it is.
Looks like Detroit's lawyers thought the same thing.
