In fairness, the Bengals have largely cleaned up their act in recent years, and it still hasn't produced a SB win. Every team in the league has some guys with character concerns.
Furthermore, Ray Lewis was involved in a murder, and was the on field and spiritual leader of two SB winning teams. Ben Roethlisberger has as many SB rings as rape allegations, not to mention the fact that the man is such an xsshole that he's been banned from Pittsburgh night clubs and refused to autograph items for teammates' charities.
The reason the Pats took Mixon off their board is that it's a PR nightmare due to there being video of the incident. They drafted Aaron Hernandez after he shot a guy in college, for Pete's sake. They have LeGarrett Blount on their team, now.
