He was a speaker at the C.O.O.L. clinic last year and many times before that as well. That is the most prestigious O line clinic in the world. I know a person who spent 6 or 7 years in the NFL for various teams (none the Bengals) who said Paul Alexander is one of the best offensive line coaches in the NFL. He said his schemes are actually used by offensive lines all across the NFL and College Football.
I trust this person's insight because obviously the NFL experience, but he is still very much in the loop with current NFL teams and players. As to why our line struggled, maybe it's players, maybe it's an issue of execution, maybe it's teaching, or maybe it's a combination of everything?
