Signing Whit to a 1 year deal would have been great, problem is, he wanted a 3 year deal, which is stupid at his age. Zeitler, they should have paid him. Sanu and Jones left to have a bigger role on the field, not because of money. They would never be a #1 with AJ on the team and knew it. That's no ones fault. As far as drafting an Olineman, when their aren't any, there aren't any..... though I stand by my position they should have drafted Jon Toth. As far as Atkins, Johnson etc being quiet in the pre-season, it's the pre season. They are just trying to not get hurt. 3rd game coming up this week, that's the only one where they will be going full out....

It's a little different when it's a vet like Maualuga and the like vs a Reggie Nelson.  You think Rey will be missed?  I don't.

I can get on board with the rest of the post, but no one picked up 58 until two days ago.  I don't keep up with Miami, but I wonder if they had an injury at the LB position.  Nelson, on the other hand, was coming off a career year, and had another solid season in Oaktown.
