I could pontificate on the marketing aspects of Kool Aid getting the credit for all this, but the fact that people minimize that Jones had armed guards to keep people in and liberators out and act as though he legitimately charmed people into killing themselves is the more interesting thing.

I guess saying someone "drank the kool aid" is more interesting and soothing than saying men/women/children were "held at gunpoint and injected with or forced to consume poison laced with a negligible amount of flavor-aid."  Victim blaming...now there is the game.  Ok, back to the jokes.
