I saw an ice cold take (by a hopefully lone nut on twitter) that the boat probably wrecked because new woke laws made them hire a black lesbian trans person to drive the boat, or something.

I also saw a conspiracy that I hope is true where people are saying fake scientists are telling people not to look at the eclipse because Jesus will be in it saving people and that you should look, or something to that effect.  I love the idea that just by living to be 42 I've managed to see the human race revert to a dark-ages grade understanding of eclipses. 


EDIT - Wowza, I see all sorts of crazy takes on the boat into the bridge thing.  I miss the days when stuff just happened and it was somewhat accepted at face value.
