I know plenty of other displaced subcontractors that never recovered. Rather than pick themselves back up, they continued to travel down the ugly road of self pity and blame.
Did you ever claim the Earned Income Credit on your taxes? I know I did while in the military. According to conservatives, that is a freebie or a handout.
