Not to get too analytical in  the jokes thread, but isn't it odd that the same people who think school teachers are over-paid also think the job is dangerous enough to warrant being armed and trained in combat tactics? Well, that's if we ignore the cynical notion that 3,000,000 or so public school teachers are going to be mandated to be armed so the government can hand a gigantic no-bid contract to the gun manufacturer that tosses them the most money/support.
