Although, on behalf of the author, 6 days in Trump time is like 6 months for a normal politician. It's like everything gets sped up.

Normally, it takes politicians months to flip flop on policy, Trump did it mid-debate. Most presidents it took years (if they even got there) to hit 50+ percent disapproval ranking; Trump did it in like a month. He wasn't going to fire the guy investigating his friends... until a week later when he fired the guy investigating his friends.

Six days to go from "moderate Republican" to "Facist" is pretty slow in Trump time.
