I don't know exactly how much CO2 would be saved with 100 years of climate change "mandates", but I guess it's safe to assume it beats that one ton.

In other words, this meme is grossly inaccurate, and that's putting it mildly. I know it's bad style to comment on the memes, but this is just too much to bear.

I put it in the jokes thread, because it's an exaggeration.  However, the basic point has some merit.  The volcano is going to naturally emit so much CO2 into the atmosphere, in a short period of time, making human efforts to control CO2 emission look weak and meager in comparison.
