EDIT: Turns out Lerner isn't a random celebrity gossip blogger that managed to land a blue checkmark. He is a Democrat strategist that co-founded Build the Wave - a group dedicated to increasing voter turnout for Democrats through text and social media. One of the first things you see when you go to Buildthewave.org is the quote, "Brooklyn-based Build the Wave is trying to harness Democratic anger at the Trump administration to boost voter turnout this fall, largely through texting."


This guy is well aware of the CARES Act yet made this Tweet anyone to make average voters who likely to be confused by or not fully aware of the CARES Act angry at Trump.


 EDIT: Democrat Congressmen Ted Liu responded to Lerner's Tweet calling it mis-leading citing unemployment benefits and PPP.
