There were two players they listed the Giants could cut to make sure they had room for Golladay. One was Evan Engram and forget who the other was. Anways, prior to the Rudoph signing, this sretched their space from 4 to 17 million dollars.
Just remember that other teams do not operate like the Bengals. It's not as simple as what you see is what you get in terms of cap space. They'll make cuts, they'll use leverage to make guys restructure, and they'll move money around from year to year to make it work.
If the Giants really want Golladay I have no doubt they can find the money. I'm not saying that means he's going there, I'm just pointing out that I wouldn't count them out because of how much it seems they can currently afford.
