It all comes down to money. Like anything in life.
The real sign of decline of this franchise is right here. We went from "shoulda won it all, if QB doesn't get injured" in 2005 and 2015 to "shoulda won 7 games is QB doesn't get injured" today.
Even our fantasies are dying.
