My old lady calls this picture my gonzo period. For reasons that completely escape me she equates me with the 70s journalist Hunter S Thomson .. I'm not a journalist by any stretch of any imagination although I once wanted to pursue it as a living . I have absolutely no idea what was in my right hand if anything at all .
It was just me looking up at the last eclipse with those goofy eclipse glasses .. She has a friend who brought her family to visit and stay with us a few days to see the eclipse since it passed directly above us last summer .. "She's so vain ..she probably thought this post was about her ..then flew her Lear jet up to Elgin to see a total eclipse of the sun ... yada yada yada. ."  

Ok, I'm really losing it now. .Skip all of the above, but much to my disgrace it really is me..and they didn't fly here in a Lear jet. We don't have our own private landing strip ..just a humble driveway .. Yeah ,life sucks, huh ?
