The braces are not a fashion statement. They are much more practical for anyone with a beer gut like me. It is hard to keep a belt from sliding down under my stomach.

More people would wear braces if they knew how comfortable they are. If you are constantly pulling up your pants and/or tucking in your shirt you should try them.
