He actually does that a lot, and I think that is part of the problem. Too many times I've watched him be the only guy on the ball carrier in space and the ball carrier breaks free because instead of taking him down, he is pulling at that ball and get's shoved away.

My guess is it would be Duffner, not sure the guy partly responsible for this linebacking play would be any better.

Well since both lines just get dominated every game this is not a big surprise. Football starts on the lines - win consistently at the LOS and everything else becomes a lot easier. Lose consistently at the LOS and everything else becomes a fantasy.
