Seems like it's pretty straightforward.
Bengals - "We want to give you X amount over Y years!"
Player - "Great! How much guaranteed though?"
Bengals - "What does that matter? You'll be here for at least most of those years, so that's essentially guaranteed!"
Player - "...Yea, no."
Yeah, exactly!!!! How do they not learn?

How will the Bengals know who is available to try to work out deals without it?!

Too advanced for Bengals.
They're waiting for the Dinosour to bring the etched rock.
Getting Hill back is good for the young Dline. But does mean that that is the Dline signing of FA.. No Allen or any updgrade from Hill.

Nothing to learn if that's what they really believe it needs to be ran.
Mike Brown's key philosophy is don't pay players to not be on the team.
He isn't much of a gambler.
And after the disaster last year with Sheldon Rankins, it just reinforces that mentality.
Welcome back BJ Hill!!!
Good player and Great locker room guy he's hilarious.

I guess you're unfortunately correct, hope they aren't going back to the Antonio Bryant fear.

No, it’s still in the trunk of the Lumina
