Someone wants Robbins back after the way Rehkow boomed it last year?

The bottom line it is way too early to decide if a draft pick is bad at a position.

He needs to work on his holds for sure, but Rehkow is one heck of a Punter. Robbins wasn't even close to as good IMO.

Not everything was on Rehkow. The operation being off may have contributed to McPherson’s groin injury. I was happy to see there would be a competition for long snapper but haven’t heard much more about it.

Certainly don't want to play them out of position even if they look good there in camp. Rivers has looked not playable on the right side. I just think they need another plan and it doesn't appear that's in the building.Come on now you or I have no clue if Rivers cant play RT.. we are bystanders ...

They thought trying him at guard might be a better fit at least on the right side. They weren’t sure if the issue was just that he wasn’t adjusting well to the unfamiliar right side, where he had played mostly in camp, or something more fundamental
It was emphasized they really wanted to see him in a game situation

"Tom Brady (early in his career), Brett Favre, and Tony Romo have held for field goals. Backup QBs have held for field goals. Running backs and WRs have held for field goals: Danny Amendola and Hines Ward and Darren Sproles. The bottom line is to have someone who is good at handing the football and good under pressure. Mostly punters do it these days, but it doesn't have to be that way."
