Let's do this exercise to get away from the debates and thoughts about tomorrow for a few:
Hypothetically, two teams with very similar talent are playing each other.
1. Can both teams play a 'perfect' game?
2. If so, what would the outcome look like?
(If you don't care to 'play along', please pass on by and save the ridicule, sarcasm, malice for the first time the Bengals lose)

Way to go. I was not your biggest fan.... for sure. I said things that Should have not been said, but I was angry... I was the one who said you knocked my popcorn out of my hands when I was at the game. I was the one who said you threw the ball onto Second Street West... I also said I wish we would have taken Luck or Kap or Ryan Leaf... I am the one who said you look like Opie but with a stronger Jaw Line... For this I am sorry. I am sorry. I will allow one kick in the Nads if you like.. Right in the Nads Andy. You DA MAN!!!!! I am Sorry. Thanks for all your Hard Work this year... Thanks.

So everyone considers Bill Belichick to be the master at finding ways to stop great offenses, generally by taking away their strengths and forcing them to do something different.
So here's the question: How would Belichick stop his own team?
Note: I realize this is a Bengal forum but am interested to hear what everyone thinks. We may very well be presented with this task again in the playoffs and would like to know if you think we'd handle it differently next go around. As you recall our last 2 games against the Pats were complete opposites, one working well and they other not so well - granted we didn't have Burfict in the last game.

First, let me say I'm a big fan of stealing what the Pats do. In a copycat league, why not copy the best?
Think it was the Miami game, was very impressed with the different ways the Pats had to get Lewis the ball in space. I'd like to see Gio used in the same ways. He possesses the same skills as Lewis, who the Pats have turned into a big time weapon with schemes.
Thoughts?

Home field or bust |

Here's the deal... If the Bengals want to go to SB 50, they need to get home field advantage for the playoffs. If they do, in my opinion there'a 50-50 shot at them getting there. If they have to travel for the AFC Championship, it will probably be @ Denver or NE - in which case I'd give them a 20% shot at going.
