Probably the slowest RB in the NFL.
And he is not a really big back.

Hmmm... I wonder how Patrick is doing in SF? https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/P/PatrJa01.htm 24 total snaps, 18 on STs. 2 rushes for 12 yards in a loss. Not exactly lighting the world on fire.

All the dislike for Perine comes from his lack of ability to take it to the house and frustration for his pass blocking (although he was better last year). He's still averaging a better YPC both this year and last year compared to Mixon, and a better YPC than Bernard last year too.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. Ended 9-8 but barely missed playoffs Changes needed to do better in Sept/Oct moving forward. Sorry for Party Rocking! ![]()

Should be a decent PS guy and I could see him being a special teams unit guy down the road. Also, I don't think a piece of his left ear is missing so that's a plus

Perine had 15 touches for 83 yards and a TD last week. So we should slow the Perine hate for now, and I say this as someone who was bashing the crap out of Perine.
The training, nutrition, medicine, fitness, playbooks and rules evolve. The athlete does not.
