Probably the slowest RB in the NFL.

And he is not a really big back.

Bengals stocking up on sons of athletic super stars.   Randy Moss - Thaddeus Moss, Evander Holeyfield - Elijah Holeyfield.    :)

Hmmm...

I wonder how Patrick is doing in SF?

https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/P/PatrJa01.htm

24 total snaps, 18 on STs. 2 rushes for 12 yards in a loss. Not exactly lighting the world on fire.

Chris's legs should be fresh.

The last 2 years at Michigan ('19-'20) he only had a total of 16 carries for 73 yards.

Perine averaged 5.4 yards per carry Sunday while it seemed Mixon maybe wasn't 100% and they were limiting his snaps.

All the dislike for Perine comes from his lack of ability to take it to the house and frustration for his pass blocking (although he was better last year).
He's still averaging a better YPC both this year and last year compared to Mixon, and a better YPC than Bernard last year too.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. If he can turn this into a playoff appearance, it will be impressive.

Sorry for Party Rocking!

Just imagine a 215lb guy lead blocking for 230lb Mixon and 240lb Perine. Lol

Should be a decent PS guy and I could see him being a special teams unit guy down the road. Also, I don't think a piece of his left ear is missing so that's a plus

Yep. Perine had 15 touches for 83 yards and a TD last week.

So we should slow the Perine hate for now, and I say this as someone who was bashing the crap out of Perine.
The training, nutrition, medicine, fitness, playbooks and rules evolve. The athlete does not.

I just think Evans has so much more to offer.  Burrow gets compared to Brady a lot. He needs his Dion Lewis.. He should be getting at least 5 targets a game.
