Or maybe Palmer mentioned it in an interview after he was a Bengal or after he retired?
I can't remember.

It was a interview. All I heard him say on Marvin Lewis was that he was a good coach. I think all he mentioned on changes was for the team to be more active and free agency and do other things that other teams do to show they were serious about winning.

Well I could see a deal announcement before the Thursday game now. Hopefully this is still a sign of positive movement in that regard.

I'm glad he's practicing. I'm glad he looks to be a go for Sunday.

They still need to get a deal done immediately.

I get that he's under contract, but it helps the team to act now. Barring something I'm not going to speak into existence, his value will never be at a more affordable rate than it is right now. The cap will go up. Receiver deals will continue to grow. Yes, the number seems high, but the number after the season will almost certainly be higher.

On top of that, I really don't want to go through an entire year of speculation over any injury he may incur. If the rookie deal remains for the entirety of the year, every bump and bruise will get blown out of proportion. He's either actually going to make "business decisions" on the field, or he's going to be perceived to be doing so.

Time to stop postponing the inevitable. After all these insane wr deals got done, it's a terrible look for a team like the Bengals that already get their share of undeserved criticism for being "cheap" or obsolete in their organizational thinking.

True I don’t think there’s any doubt about that.
Romo “ so impressed with Zac ...1 of the best in the NFL… they are just fundamentally sound. Taylor the best winning % in the Playoffs of current coaches. Joe Burrow” Zac is the best head coach in the NFL & that gives me a lot of confidence." Taylor led the Bengals to their first playoff win since 1990, ending the longest active drought in the four major North American sports, en and appeared in Super Bowl LVI, the first since 1988.

Chase is speaking to the press on Friday.

No way do they let him talk without a deal it would be a PR shitshow.

I’m gonna make a calculated guess and say it’s done.

There were several things Carson wanted Brown to improve.  We were at the bottom of the barrel in almost every off field category on top of the lack of free agents.

Im surprised at how many do not remember this, Carson was absolutely correct and so many fans were with him.  Fans today think Katie is great because we are a normal team with facilities and other items, but that is all Carson wanted.  Every fan should have wanted the same.  Free agents refused to even talk to the Bengals because it was such a shit show, besides the fact we didnt pay well.

All this hoopla about player contracts. When and if he will talk with the media. What a bunch of BS. Should someone tell them they have a game Sunday? A real game that counts? I wonder if the players and Zac rehearse this circus act every morning? Gotta be tough, practicing the "show" for the fans and media and actually preparing for a real game. Watch them come out flat Sunday and be trailing 10 pts. late in the 4th Q. They shouldn't but wouldn't surprise me.

I never heard his reasons until a few years back maybe when we were drafting Burrow. Definitely something fans should all be behind but I feel like it was kept hush hush for that reason at the time.

Social media wasnt a big thing when Carson was pushing for change from Mike Brown.

Fans were p!ssy with Carson over his comments regarding Burrow, CP was 100% concerned about his health and the club's commitment to being truly successful.  And again he was 100% correct as the FO gave Burrow a pathetic sh!tty oline his first 2 years resulting in his knee being blown out his rookie season.  It wasnt until Katie really asserted herself after the 2021 season that we started to become a respectable organization.

True, and I remember Palmer making a comment or two about what the Ravens were or were not doing on defense and questioned why we couldn't or wouldn't do similar. Marvin commented on his thoughts and basically shot down what he had said saying it wasn't true because he was the D coordinator for them then. Kinda sounded like Lewis was running cover for Mike Brown at the time. Don't know and could be totally off about the reason but I remember watching the Lewis presser about it.
