Like I've said for years, Taylor is overrated and carried by Burrow. His schemes are terrible. The first half of the game I'm not sure if we passed under center or ran in shotgun. It was SO predictable

Pretty much.  As long as we can win on the road in the playoffs none of this matters and we can just stink like a rose.

Ravens lost, Browns are going to lose and have the worst QB situation in the NFL and the Steelers are led by Justin Fields. We can't lose this division.

The team didn't look good in the preseason either.

I think we could play the Panthers or the commanders pretty tough but we're going to get killed against the Chiefs next week

I think the Chase contract was a huge distraction because this team needs to pay attention.  Blame the FO for letting it get that far.
If you weren't going to do the deal, just say so early and don't let it affect the team.  Fail.

Zac Taylor?  Well, you sure so don't look like the guy.  Almost looks like he's riding the coattails of Joe burrow.

Look at the state of this.

This is not a man who has control of his players, whoever said the vibes weren’t right in the locker room was spot on.

any mention of the chase contract thing distracting this team is a bunch of nonsense..

He has been sacked so many times he is gun shy. Line not looking good. Look at New England. He had all day to pass. We are in need of run stoppers and pash rushers. Did not upgrade at either. No one close to reader. Bengals is offense first team defense if we have anything left

Ravens still looked really good. Browns are hard to gauge. Steelers always hang around. The Bungles look like the worst team in this division, and it’s not really close.

Unless Burrow is out a significant time we are making the playoffs.  And I say that as someone who is pointing out how ZT and the Brown family are being carried by him.

I don’t believe that anymore. Burrow isn’t enough. Especially when there’s a non-zero chance his wrist is still injured. I heard him say “they took away the deep ball” again in his presser and it hit me even harder than the game did. He’s broken. Maybe not physically, but mentally. He’s lost that fire. He all but admitted for the 16th time that you can shut him down with a tampa 2/cover 2. He’s accepted it.

I don’t want to say Burrow is broken but he dropped his eyes to the pass rush way too fast on way too many plays today. He did not look comfortable or confident the entire game.

Burrow is enough, this isn't the AFC north of 2005 - 2012 or so. The Ravens are good, the Steelers are the weakest they've been since the 80s, the browns are in QB sex offender hell.

If burrow is injured ZT has a total pass on the year and if Burrow isn't he will be carried by him.  The WheelBurrow is designed to carry dead weight v

Of course.  Leaving out one of your main starters throughout camp and preseason has absolutely no effect.

100%. He looked panicky at times to me. If his first read wasn’t there it was almost like he was tucking the ball and expecting to get hit any moment.

0-2 is a given. Let’s see how they do week three I guess.

I don’t think anyone should give up on the team, they have a track record of being able to turn it around but I do think it’s reasonable to be frustrated and expect improvement after what was displayed on the field today.
