Higgins to miss week 2 (Chiefs)?

Mahomes doesn't have these games where he looks lost. Joe had a full preseason and he said he felt great on Friday so what the hell happened Sunday against what many called the worst team in the league with 2 good starters out? Same thing happened last year against Texans, they were missing half their starters and they trounced us. Remember? Something is wrong in Bengal land. Too many times they lose and look FLAT and unprepared and it seems like it is with different players each year too. I gotta look at the coaches first.

A. Burrow isn’t Mahomes.

B. He’s coming back from an injury, and hasn’t played since week 10 last season. He needed action more than most.

If I read that Joe washed the Eminem lolipop out of his hair, broke up with his new GF, and hasnt talked to anyone off the field all week, I will feel much better going into Sunday.  Time for Joe to earn his money, put the team on his back and put forth a solid fight this week.

This seems like a weird thing to focus on tbh (not singling you out). Brady and Rodgers were both with celebrities for years.

I assume you are joking but it would be oddly funny if for a second year in a row Burrow changed his style  going into the new season and then came out looking like crap and responded by undoing his fashion changes.

Im being overdramatic with my descriptors in describing the level of hope I have for him being insanely focused this week.  I dont give a shit who the guy dates.

I was definitely being sarcastic, Nic Cosca has to keep me in check.

They should still try to trade him for some value but that would require a front office with negotiation skills Ninja

Gotcha. I’ve just seen it mentioned a couple times now.

For the record, Tee did not tweak a god damn hammy the day before the game

That injury is fake and i guarantee if Chase signs an extension Tee’s injuries magically disappear. I think Chase is using his leverage to force us to give him a deal

We can’t really do shit to Tee since everyone knows we aren’t even gonna try and sign him.

MB is an idiot for letting this go this far.

I doubt Tee is working to help Chase earn a deal. Maybe self preservation, but he’s not sitting out in solidarity.

This is false.  He tweaked it Thursday and again Saturday according a good source.

This narrative doesnt make any sense.  Housh you are going on tilt my man.

I mean, people thought the same about Auden Tate for 4 years and now he's in the CFL.  People think the same about every Golden Binns winner.  You'd think they'd learn, but nope.

I may be but it’s just a suspicion

I think it’s not crazy for Tee to be helping Chase but i acknowledge the idea is out there

Yeah, Higgins wouldn't screw himself out of a big contract for Chase. I'm sure he would help him if there was no harm to himself.

Every player is for themself.  You said it earlier, the Bengals are not extending him.  He must perform for the other 31 teams in order to get his maximum deal next year.  He has an injury history.  Him missing more games by faking an injury absolutely hurts him in those future negotiations.

The PFF grades matched exactly what I saw. Trent Brown was by far the worst.

Cool, I don’t care about their grades. Cappa was beat constantly and that affected Burrow more than anything T. brown did or did not do.

If you say so.
