KC Game Paycor Watch Party

Perhaps if the Bengals didn't lay an egg in week 1... more people would pony up the steep $99 per person.

I already had plans but not interested at that price point and current state of the team.

That's a good point: perhaps it's not a bad idea, just bad timing.  They probably could have sold a lot of tickets up through kickoff Sunday.  Now?  Not so much.

I hope if a member here goes they'll share the details with us in a thread Sunday evening.

Some teams do this for free or low cost.

This seems a bit chintzy as it were. Maybe after a big win in Rd 1 and everybody pumped for Arrowhead but it seems a bit flat now. I understand this has probably been in the pipeline for months but timing is everything.

If kids were free, I'd take my wife and daughter.
I can't fathom dishing out $300 though.

They did this for a few years starting in 2003 except it was free to gain entry. You just showed up at the east club doors like an hour before game time and found a table. It was a fun time but I'm not paying for it.

I remember that. They had a name for it too, which escapes me.  I think they featured Sunday ticket, so you could watch other NFL games as well, and all with a great view of downtown.  I thought about going but just never made it down there.  I thought someone posted pics once on the mothership.  It was a good idea, but the attendance must not have warranted it after a while.

This just seems like an embarrassing money grab to me. It's a week 2 game for God's sake. Do you see any other team in the league doing this kind of thing for a regular season game? Let alone charging $100?

Would the Chiefs host a watch party to watch them play in Cinci? None of it is a good look, making a week 2 game appear like our Super Bowl. Hey, maybe MB will be a trend setter and every team will start offering this type of thing for every away game, but I doubt it.

How many times has the fanbase asked for the Bengals to come into the new age?  This is for fan engagement.   I think it's bad timing, but I applaud the effort.

I don't think the Chiefs would do this - but their stadium is not downtown.  It's not the easiest place to get to...

Plus they have won so much it's kind of meh for them I imagine.   Their fan base expects the victories.

Not defending it, not shitting on it, but it's $99.00 for a ton of things, not just to watch a game.

Get informed first before shitting on something.
