The rookie we haven't talked about

What I remember reading was, Evan saying it was his mechanics. He said his heel was coming thru first and his toes rotating to fast to get squared at impact. Golfers know this all too well.

And that may be it, but he's not going to publicly blame his holder. I'm sure Simmons knows the truth, one way or the other

For God's sake, no he hasn't.

Evan has missed (on average), 5 FGs a year and 2 XPs a year.

He has missed just ONE of each, at the quarter post: he is on track for both or better, as of now.

Stop.

Punting Ave 58.4 yards leads the league by 6 yards
Net Yards  49.7 leads the league by 2.5 yards

Brad Robbins should nurse that injury for as long as he can because he isn't coming back to the 53 anytime soon

Nice. Thought he was decent yesterday. One Punt was short though and bounced for the rest of the yardage.

He was better yesterday maybe hamstring is healing?

It would, but I wouldn't expect it to be THAT much better, that quickly: think he's just a better matchup, is all.

We will need Sam against the Ravens, he is our best spy for Lamar.

Early doors last season, I was slating Robbins in the GDTs. Had a bit of back and forth with a couple of guys who weren't so fussed, saying they'd barely noticed the punter so he can't have been that bad etc.

This is what a real punting game looks like ladies and gentlemen.

well just as we decided Brad Robbins was going to be out of a job....they activate him. If I were him, I wouldn't get too comfortable. There are 2 desperately needed defensive players due to come off IR

I said he was awful from the get go last year as well, Chrisman was infinitely better FFS, save for Hangtime (where he wasn't that far off Robbins), it was a maddening pick.

I doubt we see Tycen on defense anytime soon.  He almost allowed a huge 4th down conversion on the fake punt.  He left the middle wide open and actually ran past the receiver to go block the gunner.  Total lack of awareness.

He is an exceptional athlete, compared to the starters he is an Olympian-worthy athlete, but he is obviously lacking the mental aspect.

So you're saying holding is not important? I'm not saying he is the problem, I said he MIGHT be the problem, and if he is the reason Evan is missing, he will be replaced for that.

Brad robins back from IR and now on the team.

Please don’t tell me they’re about to remove Ryan for Brad?

I'm saying that is is 4 games into the season and Evan is on track for his annual numbers: whether his misses came week 1 or yesterday, 4 games have passed and he's on track to be exactly the same as his previous 3 years.

There's no way our front office/coaching staff can be THAT stupid. If so they all need fired immediately.

Rekhow has won this job in convincing fashion and it shouldn't even be a conversation of more than a second amongst our staff.

Pretty sure he has to be activated to be cut.  Players on IR cannot be cut.
