I meant from a giggles perspective, obviously.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. If he can turn this into a playoff appearance, it will be impressive.

Idk, the last two weeks haven’t been great. It was also tough matchups from DL to OL standpoint.
If you look at the whole season.
Bengals opponents they have played are collectively giving up 168 ppg
The bengals have scored 178.
The biggest outlier is week 1 with the patriots giving up 25 and bengals scoring 10… -15.
Chiefs 25 v 17.2
Commanders 33 v 21.7
Panthers 34 v 34.7
Ravens 38 v 25.7
Giants 17 v 21.3
Browns 21 v 23.1
Offensively, they will turn it around. This is about the time every year they turn it on. It just sucks that they have to go through this early season lul.

No he didn't but let's not act like the organization didn't do for zac what it was never willing to do for Marvin, they spent to dollar for top tier free agents..Trey Hendrickson, d.j reader, chido awuzie,Larry ogunjobi, and tre waynes all in one off-season..Marvin could only get them to spend on reclamation projects or over the hill veterans..fact of the matter is this without Marvin's contributions to this organization zac would've never had the success that's he's had and I would still take Marvin over zac because at least Marvin knew how to consistently make the playoffs and win within his division..

Hopefully the offense gets back on track, but Zac's answer here flies in the face of what were told preseason and what we were watching prior to the Giants game. I do not trust this defense to keep other teams at/under 14 points every game.
Yes Zach, I do have a problem with it...considering your offense has looked like ass the past few weeks.

Without writing a dissertation on the K-Gun and Colts offense of 2000s, our offense is built on execution rather than complexity, where Burrow is doing what Manning did in Indy.
Very similar concepts out of the shotgun with a handful of plays for different defensive formations, which Burrow adjusts pre snap. Defenses generally know what we are running, but stopping it depends on whether they can match up against Chase and Tee.
The difference is that we don't have the Addai/James and Dallas Clark type of talent and long-term familiarity/cohesiveness to execute the plays.
The question is do we think Chase Brown/All/Gesicki can be those types of talents at RB and TE?
Cause you are correct, that is the Offense right now and when it works it is damn tough to defend as we see in our good games and when it
doesn't work there is no adaptation which is my frustration at what we have seen the last couple of games. Also agree with PDub that Zac and
the Offense is just really inconsistent. We will see if it is recorrected Sunday against the Eagles who have a good Defense.
Newsflash, the Chiefs have a good Defense and Burrow and the Offense tore them up pretty good in their place namely with our TE's.

Marvin had plenty of good players both on offense and defnse..He ran the team 16 years and not one playoff game victory..nothing more needs to be said

so you're telling me that Marvin came in with the level playing field that zac came in with??did you freaking watch how this organization has been ran in the 90??if was Marvin wasn't the freaking sacrificial lamb to get this organization functioning like a real nfl franchise than Zac wouldn't be having any success that is a fact if don't understand that then you're not a real bengals fan..

He did that with Burrow as his QB.
How did Zac do with Dalton?

This is just saying the exact same single event in 3 different ways.

Not only that, but the team went OVER 30 YEARS without a single playoff win. The Bengals had Carson Palmer and a slew of excellent players and couldn't even get a single playoff win. Zac Taylor has his shortcomings, but for the first time in three decades we have a winning culture and team.

Nate; I agree with you. There are several really good things with our offense:
1) We have a Peyton Manning type as QB
2) We have two premier WRs
3) We have a good O-Line
4) We match up well with Chiefs, Bills and Ravens.
But we have to keep our talent, and add talent at RB and TE position. The revolving door at TE is getting just silly, and a semi-capable running game would have closed out the Chiefs and Ravens game and we would be sitting at 5-2.

He is right. This offense in the year 2024 is soft and not well balanced.
Bengals need a veteran OC to run the offense as Zac takes a backseat to focus solely on being the head coach. At least imo.

and they also played in a far more difficult era with teams that was far more superior to the teams you see now..big bens steelers, mannings colts, bradys pats, yeah bet you zac wouldn't make the playoffs in that era let alone win a playoff game..

I don't think Zac has to go or anything like that. However, I would like to see us bring in someone with a different mindset specifically to design and run a consistent offense for us. And part of that is overriding Burrow in some areas - like his love affair with shotgun. Get us under center more, stop giving the play away by the formation, actually power run and let our big linemen actually block downhill. Just doing these will help our receivers get open more easily - and by the way actually spread the ball out more. We have youngsters behind Jamarr and Tee and they need targets to develop. Finally, break tendencies more. We make it a lot easier on defenses because of the lack of any disguise or deception in our offense.

Another nice post XsandOs. I also think that Chase Brown, Erick All and even Gesicki are talented and could be the answer as long as they
are used right. Us not running the ball when Brown is averaging very good yards per carry is inexcusable. Need to use All on deeper routes,
not just Gesicki etc.

I'm curious about Zac's internal dialogue, that voice inside of him where he expresses to himself his own coaching weaknesses. I want to know what he thinks he could improve upon.
