While no game is a gimme - especially with our defense - Raiders and Chargers are beatable and we were a bad snap on a FG away from beating the Ravens (who just lost to the Browns) earlier this season. We could realistically win all 3 games and be over .500. It definitely helps tho “Don't give up. Don't ever give up.” - Jimmy V

There is much parity for the last WC spot, but I don;t see Bengals beating Ravens in Baltimore and will be a tough one in LA since Chargers play very sound football on both sides of the line and have a solid coach. Then we have to go to Dallas, so best case next 4 games looks like 2-2 which will not improve our playoff chances

Easy peasy, as some will no doubt insist. After Sunday's whiteout debacle my orange-colored specs lie mangled on the ground. Looking at the schedule this team might be 7-10, or maybe even 6-11 when it's all said and done. I hate typing that beacuse I wanted them to pull this out, and I believed they could a week or two back. I think maybe they've just run out of runway.

Hopefully we get better, but not so good that we get anything other than the 7th seed because we can't win at home.

How can anyone watch this team and think playoffs? Seriously. They beat the browns, giants and panthers. This team has 3 pro bowl players, and only 1 first team pro bowler. We have a BUNCH of average to below average players. The Browns have a better roster than us, they just don’t have a QB. How is it possible were worse than last year and we did t have Burrow? Because we did an awful job at attacking free agency. We signed a bunch of mid level guys. Everyone acted like Geisicki, Stone and Bell made us Super Bowl contenders.
Here’s our recent picks Hill isn’t very good for a 1st round pick Murphy is a bust CTB is not good Turner is bad Jenkins is a body (so far) Mims shows some hope but it’s not a guarantee Yoshi, Charlie Jones suck Jordan battle can’t beat Stone or Bell for playing time Burton can’t even get on the field to compete Sample was never good and a wasted 2nd round pick Zach Carter was cut Carman Jackson was cut The rest of the picks don’t deserve mention. This is going to take 3 years to turn this team in to a contender again. If they’re lucky. Most likely we’re entering the 2008 Carson Palmer era of football. |
