Sitting on our hands as usual

Average below average KR

He’s been a career cut candidate look at how many times we have cut him then brought back.

If he had anything about him at all do you really think the Bengals would have given up one of their precious day 3 picks?

His career highlight was the video the Bengals social media team released about it being who Dey THINK gonna beat them Bengals.

Williams couldn't even get one carry last week in a 30 carry blow-out game for Brown who had never had more than a handful of carries in a game. That pretty much should tell everyone what they need to know.

I really think the only reason Williams is still on the field is Kickoff returns. Not that he's good at it, but it takes the risk off of Brown

I'm not going to try to go back through all the games he played to find that out.
You can look it up and let us know  Wink

Well, in '20 alone he had 5/22 in a 36-10 loss to the Steelers, 12/49 in a 30-7 loss to Dallas, and 4/74 in a 38-3 loss to the Ravens.

Ok but that doesn't necessarily mean "garbage time."
When during those games did he get those attempts?
What was the score of those games at the time he came in?

Just because there may be a 3+ TD loss doesn't mean all his touches were in garbage time.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. If he can turn this into a playoff appearance, it will be impressive.

Sorry for Party Rocking!

Definitely could. Need to concentrate on slowing down King Henry the most in this one while containing Lamar in the pocket.

We have done it before, at least Lou has back when we beat the shit out of them a couple years ago.

I don't see our Defense not getting a stop in the second half this game and allowing the Ravens with a beat up Lamar to score 41
like last time we played.

Rankins and Murphy need to step up bigtime. The Rankins deal is looking awful , he isn't good against the run and does nothing as a rusher which is what we're paying him for.

So true on Rankins, been really disappointed with him.

Kris Jenkins and even McKinnley Jackson the rookies have been better in my eyes.

I think the only real scouting on Rankins was during the game last yr when he had one of his best games VS Bengals...seems like a lazy way to target a FA  because he has been a non factor all yr and I havent noticed him once.  Not sure who is a bigger dissapointment at this point, him or Murphy

They are notorious for this. And yeah, it’s a terrible approach.

There are some prideful professionals on that defense, they'll be looking to settle a score.

Rankins was a panic signing, as once DJ Reader signed with the Lions, the FO knew that they had screwed up by not signing one of the NTs. Rankins isn't even a NT, he's been a 3T or 5T in his career.

Yannick Ngakoue just got released by the Ravens. He has some pass rushing ability but doesn't bring much in the run. Could be some rotational depth.

He might be washed, he's really fallen off of the proverbial cliff since the '22 season ended.

He has a little pass rushing juice this year.

Only 87 snaps total but 5 pressures, 4 QB Hits, 2 Hurries, 1.5 sacks.

He is actually getting 1 pressure on every 9.5 pass rushing stat so far.

When you put it in those terms, yeah, I agree that he's got a little bit left. However, in the bigger picture of things, I feel like the defense would get much more impact from a guy like Calais Campbell in the middle next to BJ Hill. Would benefit the run defense, as well as open some things up for the DEs in the pass rush department.

Campbell isnt available though haha. I also agree he'd be great but he is still a Miami Dolphin.

True, but the word is that he's getting released soon.

Edit: I could have sworn that I saw something this morning saying that Campbell was going to be released, but cannot find anything on it now..
