Yet dumb to reach on his replacement, and then be entirely dependent on a rookie.

I watched that Lions game Sunday. Houston was doubling DJ on run and pass downs, and it allowed the other guy to go 1 v 1 and make some plays.

As is, he's better than our DT room has been this year. And just as available, if not more. As he gets healthier, the play should improve.

Letting him go and then paying double Detroits vap hit for him for an inferior player who only looks good vs Volson was DAF. I said so then, I say so now.

Rankins was not Reader’s replacement. They took Jackson is the 3rd round because they left themselves no choice.

Volson is meh, but I like him, and he has far exceeded my expectations

A blocking dummy would appear to be worth $2 mil a year after lining up against Volson 's sad ass.

Jenkins in the 2nd and Jackson in the 3rd.

2 full steps before the hit and he didn't let up. The thing is, both Baltimore and Pitt are dirty-ass piece of shit franchises with players that will gladly take the 15 yards (when it's called ) if it knocks the QB out of the game so they're happy to do dirty-ass piece of shit things.

Truth. Couldn't believe Sooner was arguing Rankins would replace Reader. Completely different positions and it has shown to be a major
mistake by the team. You don't bring in a 3-tech to replace a Nose Tackle and you don't rely on a rookie to play NT even if I like McKinnley.

Thanks for the updates Pally. Looking encouraging anyways especially with Orlando, didn't expect him to go with that injury.

Tough dude.

I have some hope for both rookies, but expecting them to step in and even be a shadow of what Reader is was high fantasy.  As in you'd need to be high to believe the fantasy.
