Week 11 Injury update

Thank you Nepa, they showed him hitting Burrow way late and it was dirty. I thought I was imagining it because I had heard no one else mention it.

unless he wanted to make the hall of fame, then, ya, cincy was the wrong choice

Let's be real here, OBjr isn't that good... Hilarious

His pressure numbers, pass block win rate and passpro grade this year would suggest otherwise.

I know

but he was voted to the pro bowl every year before he joined cincy. I know that was because he has name value and played for the 2 best offenses in the league at the time, but no doubt he wouldve racked up a massive amount of pro bowl nods if he stayed in KC. And if you have a certain amount of pro bowls, you can get into the hall

AKA lets throw some shit on the wall and see if it sticks.

I don't feel like those were bad picks, as they both seem like they will develop into reliable players. I do however feel like it was foolhardy of the team to think that they could depend on a couple of rookie DL to come in and be instant upgrades. Most folks know that DL take a bit of development.

Volson is meh, but I like him, and he has far exceeded my expectations

Jackson was probably drafted about a round too early. That pick had reaching for need written all over it.

Right, and something that we're used to seeing the Bengals do, likely because of their reluctance to move up and down in the draft.

He's a top 10 to 12 tackle...but he's closer to 10 than 1.

Top ranked tackles don't usually hit free agency.

He's definately good. He's not HoF level. But, KC wins SB's frequently so their players get overvalued slightly. So a Good player there is considered Great.

I’m aware. The point is if he stayed in KC, he prob makes the hall of fame though. But not actually due to his talent

There were only 2 playable NT in this draft: Seeat & Jackson. We failed Sweat on character (but not Burton) and thus there was only 1 left.

Which is why it was so dumb to let Reader get away. Once we did, we were behind the 8-ball.

He is not a very good run blocker but a very good to excellent pass blocker.

Well i think we forget that Hill has been playing that position more and more  starting with Reader injury and he has had better last few years than Reader has.. i think it was wise to let Reader go with injuries he was having and what i am seeing out of him with Lions this year.  The problem is the signing of Rankin with injury and his under performance has not worked out so far.
