Bengals trying to create a spark..
#21
The players all say it's a place and a chance for players who do not normally interact to get together and form bonds. Why that is a bad thing, I'm not sure.

How about spending money on the guys we know can play and drafting well two years in a row. That would be great!

Around here folks talk about 5th rd picks like they are trash. Where as the teams that excel in the draft covet those same picks. Bengal fans seem to have been conditioned over the years to accept poor drafts. Hence, everything below a 4th rounder is garbage.

How about paying our wide outs, getting some GD scouts, and adding one or two quality free agents! Not Geno Stones and Sheldon Rankins type of dudes.

Yay! Ping-pong tables! This should really help with the foosball playing. Smh...

Instead...they bring back ping ping tables...

You think if the Steelers defense played terrible for 2 games that their fix would be adding ping pong tables?

Yup, that's why they trotted Matt Canada out there as the OC for 4 years of shit offenses.

But no, they'll never make necessary changes like getting rid of the Matt Canadas of the world, because they're, "competent."

Rolleyes

Teams have a plan and they try to ride it out until the end, that's why change is sometimes hard to do: they want continuity.

Way too many strawmen being thrown around here.

And, they still finished with a winning record and made the playoffs! Know why? Because they know how to draft, coach, and win. Yay! Ping-pong! How about some bowling lanes too? Going for broke now!

We have had 2 seasons of playoff wins in 34 seasons.  No SB win ever.  3 appearances.

How many seasons out of the last 34 do the Steelers have playoff wins in?

How many division championships do the Steelers have in the last 34 seasons?

How many SB wins do the Steelers have in the last 34 seasons?

What is the Steelers overall W/L record?  480-305-2   Bengals 398-478-5

But ya, 2 seasons out of the last 34 we won some playoff games.  woo hoo   And that seems like a lifetime ago at this point.  Right back to complete dysfunction.

5 seasons of Burrow.  3 with no playoffs.

We can't hold the Steelers jock strap when it comes to success.

Face the facts. Even with Burrow, Chase and Higgins we are the laughing stock of the NFL.  No other FO could eff up with Burrow, Chase, Higgins this badly.

If it were pickleball, then I'd know they were serious about winning.

Is this a joke. They seriously are even making a story about the only change Zac Taylor wanted to make in the bye week was to bring ping pong tables back? Yes when we were down a million to nothing against the chargers, I thought, damn…if we had some ping pong tables I bet this would be a different game. We only lost to the patriots, with all our starters and a healthy lineup, because the team get to play a little ping pong. If we had ping pong, our defense never gives up 40+ to Washington. We could have made the 2 point conversion vs Baltimore if we had some table tennis action.

For real, wtf

CTB isn't even allowed to play Ping Pong, he's always too slow in reacting to the ball.  Ninja

Why work harder, lead, and do a better job coaching the team when you can bring in ping pong tables.

Maybe next the players will make vision boards and and lay in the grass doing blending drills?

I do not get where this team's head is at...

They've had Ping Bong tables in the locker room since 2021 season.

No doubt Pittsburg has a great past. I also heard the Cleveland Browns were once the mark of excellence.

I didn't applaud our current staff; I just pointed out the irony of looking the Pittsburgh for a current model of excellence.

The only place this current Bengal organization is a "laughing stock" is by some folks on this message board and other Bengal fans who are currently mad.

I was unaware that the Bengals had never won a Superbowl, are there other teams that fall into this specific category?

I apologize but I thought they haven't done anything in 8 years was a strong argument against not applauding their current staff. Apparently I should have considered the Steelers of the 70's (55 years ago).

So we've sunken so low we are criticizing bringing ping pong tables back to the locker room to facilitate player relationships. Is it a big thing, no. Is it hurting, no. When are we going to piss all over Burrow's chess board?

The FO already did that.  He might get destroyed this Sunday.

Forget about a win, I just hope Burrow can survive for 60 minutes.

Bengals don’t need a spark, they need a fire under everyone’s butt, either produce or your gone.
