As of right now, the only signal is Tee's mother. Seems she is unhappy.
When negotiations are at a deadlock, then Teams and Agents use their media mouthpieces to disseminate propaganda.
Then lastly; the moles implanted on Fan Boards begin to chirp.
I think Frankie Booth is a mole. Based on his comments about Tee, he may be a Bengals mole. Unless he is double-cross, secret Tee mole - which he could very well be!
So Tee’s mother speaks about her multi millionaire son not getting paid enough. I was neutral on this until I seen her whining about the situation. Oh my heart goes out to her since they will see more money than I will in my lifetime. I expect this type of behavior from a parent on a youth travel baseball team but not a from a parent of an adult millionaire professional athlete. Quoting Ochocinco,” Child please!” lol and please stfu

Why is it the only big deals they can ever work out seem to be with a QB?
The way the Bengals are with contracts makes it feel like when you join a small company just to gain experience to jump to a real, bigger company.
Because the Bengals are dead last in the league in cash paid to non-QB's.
Other teams pay these guys real money. We don't. So when players/agents compare deals other guys get to what we offer, our deals don't compare well
Short answer: Mike Brown is cheap.

Like, though I agree 30M is too rich for me...does say 5M being available for the next few years depend on the money going directly to Tee? If so, a happy Burow + a known (yet injury prone) talent vs our drafting history = worth paying Tee 30M. Same goes for Chase's money, and for all we know maybe Burrow's restructure is contingent in signing both. Then you've got how the Brown family handles guaranteed money, which could turn Burrow's offer to restructure into a "I did my part" that never gets to the table. Again, theoretic but to be a fly on the wall with Burrow's influence on how the money is spent.
Nice thoughts Phil. I guess if Joe wants them back that bad which it wouldn't surprise me that could be in the details and would make it
make more sense for Tee anyways. The best QB's like Brady and Mahomes take less money in order to keep the team more competitive
and that is what Joe I am sure knows and will do. He is all about ball and he hates losing more than about anyone.
I still remember Joe at the awards ceremony and he was clearly pissed off winning the comeback player of the year award again.
He wants SB MVP. Whatever helps to make this happen I am down with and Tee does make our Offense another animal when he is on
the field. Gotta get the trenches more than solid to win a SB though, #1.

I wonder if we offered roughly the same deal to Trey and Tee.

Could be as they are both rumored to be asking around that $30 mil/year mark but who knows with regards to guarantees.
I would be surprised if they offered Trey as much as Tee even though he has been more reliable and valuable than Tee. They seem to be more willing to pay younger guys and lean towards giving the $ to offensive players - especially since it’s one of Burrows boys.

Trey must be in high demand. To get a trade dance partner in two days is impressive.
Lets see what Tee's contract looks like. Assuming 4 year $110M with $30M at signing and $60M guaranteed?

If that is legit it is a real good sign.
Tee & Gesicki back. Trey still saying he'd love to stay. And he and Chase ARE still under contract.
Looks like we are letting Hilton go. But until he signs elsewhere...
BJ Hill is the other big time FA.
I'd love to see a Burrow restructure done before FA starts Monday. Gesicki + Tee + 1 of Trey/Chase might be enough if the other is close.
I'd love to have added ammo when FA starts.

Can Tee bring Becton or Fries with him please?

I am guessing, but if Tee signs, I think Tee's cap hit in 2025 will drop from 26.2 million to no more than 15 million. It would glve us an extra 11 million and have Tee signed as well.

Not until Monday but hopefully one of them will be a Bengal.

Or both would be even better. Thanks for the update on Tee being on a private plane heading to Cincy Clark. Rare to have good news like
this on a Saturday with the Bengals. Loved the Mike G deal and if Tee is locked up for a while those are some great weapons for Joe.
I thought we would want to get Ja'Marr's giant extension out of the way first, but oh well, as long as it gets done I am happy.

Hopefully this means Tee is re-signing today
I am guessing that they want to do some other deals to see how they can structure Chases. I just don’t see any way he is not extended but the Bengals are going to have to go beyond their comfort level for a non-QB to get it done. The good news is that they know Burrow just will not accept Chase leaving so they will be “forced” to give him big money.

The bengals won’t be forced. Jamar Chase is a top 10 player in the league. Everyone knows it. The bengals will happily get Jamar locked up long term. It will get them out of the comfort zone, but they won’t feel forced

Yep, but they said they were going to pay Ja'Marr the most for a non-QB so they knew it wasn't going to be comfortable lol
4 years 160 million for Ja'Marr and he is the highest paid non-QB in the NFL. Get it done.

The SI article speculates that Chase may have been using his influence to get Tee signed, such as "Him First, then Me."
I only mention it because I had the exact same thought, so I thought I'd share. Wouldn't surprise me if both signings are announced at the same time.

Or maybe plan is to announce Hudson Friday, Gesicki Saturday, Higgins Sunday, Chase Monday and Trey Tuesday
