Free Agency
I actually could see us attacking the Guard positions early in FA. I think we have a few guys targeted and IMO they will be upgrades and wont be huge contract guys either.

1) Dalton Risner- LG

2) Matt Pryor- RG

- both are solid Pass blockers and average run blockers, which really fits our offense. It also allows us flexibility salary cap wise to upgrade a few spots on Defense in FA.

- I also think we draft a T/G prospect @ rd 3/4 of the draft to add depth to the line

Cool, I don't know anything about Pryor?

Will Hernandez would be another name that has not been spoken of much that Pulses brought up. I know people know of him from the Draft
and being a bust early in his career but last year he was much better Pulses says.

Don't understand why with how many good Guards will be available. This is about as good of a FA class as there is to find a good Guard if
you need one. Maybe the tagging of Trey Smith ran up the price of the other Guards? But I mean there is at least 7 to 10 Guards that I would
be more than fine with adding this FA. That is rare for one position and Pryor and Hernandez have just been brought up recently on here.

Not feeling too good about any of this right now
How can we expect them to attack needs in FA when they can’t even sign their own guys to extensions?
How will they know how much they have to spend?
Still hoping for some news on the 3 main guys today but not very hopeful.

Well they tagged Higgins so regardless he is rostered for next year, Tre is under contract (but sounds like he pricing himself out of a new contract), Chase will get done.. so all three will be back next year unless trades happen.  I am most worried about BJ Hill, he is a solid player and we young behind him so really need to sign him to a contract.  AS for free agency and draft we can fill everyone in a year, hope we focus on Guard and DE in free agency and draft.

My personal opinion, but the Bengals HAVE to get at least one marked improvement player in FA.
They can't go into the draft just getting back to what they were at the end of last season.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. Ended 9-8 but barely missed playoffs

Changes needed to do better in Sept/Oct moving forward.

Sorry for Party Rocking!

Only problem is he has no QB to throw to him.

Kind of overrated too. He's about a 900-1100 yard receiver a year.

Steelers getting Metcalf doesn't worry me. The contract kind of does. The family waiting things out just keeps driving up prices on these players.

On the other hand, the money and the second rounder in return might make getting something significant for Trey a little less unlikely.

Metcalf doesn't have the value of Trey anyways....DK's not in the top tier like Trey is.

Tee is going to command more than 33 million now

I say we blow it up and trade both Tee and Trey and hope to hit on the picks. I promise you that is want ownership really wants to do.

It's 4 years $132 mill.

It is now cheaper to tag Higgins for 2 years again than it is to sign him to that deal. (Cash Wise)

3rd tag is 37M + 26M = 63M over 2 years.
