Max Klare- TE Ohio State?
#1
Max Klare is transferring from Purdue to Ohio State this season, which I don't like because it could improve his draft status immensely.

He's a Cincinnati kid from St X High School.

He's 6'4, 240, and a hell of an athlete and receiver. I think he could make our offense pretty unstoppable because you have defenders running with them or playing deep and he'd kill it running routes underneath them or just up the seam.

Here are some highlights:

He's projected as going in rounds 2-4, which he'd be about our fifth need, but if we can be active in free agency and satisfy our needs at DL, C, S, and OT, I think he'd be a hell of an addition to our offense. I'm hoping transferring doesn't boost his stock all that much or there's just not many teams with a high need at TE.

Thoughts?

Klare did pretty well last year, putting up 51 receptions for 685-4.
However, if Klare follows the tradition for Ohio St TEs, he'll end up having under 500 yards receiving and he'll be underwhelming in the NFL like many TEs coming out of Ohio St for at least the past 25 years.
If that tradition continues, it may actually help Klare drop in value as a sleeper.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. Ended 9-8 but barely missed playoffs

Changes needed to do better in Sept/Oct moving forward.

Sorry for Party Rocking!
