That's something the whole family would enjoy.

Great flick...  of course I heard they are making a remake(shocker).

Supposedly it will have Jack Black, The Rock, and Kevin Hart.

For the love of God can we just STOP with these remakes?!?

Ikr ....  Can we have some original thought.

Tired of movies being either a comic book character, policitally motivated themes (climate change being one of the worthless ones)

its horrible at least the rock is taking it seriously saying he thinks it will make robin Williams proud...

But yeah if it was good the first time around why do we need to remake it.. I understand they think it will be instant cash  but what about those good movie idea's that just didn't pan out the first time but might now with new technology....

Sorry guys about the post with the incredibly large font in it.

I was posting on my phone and couldn't change it without totally rewriting the post.

Just being lazy.

Anyway I agree if a movie can be done with better effects that actually make the premise seem more plausible.

That would be fine.

What I don't want to see is a remake of movies like Back To The Future.

That would be just wrong in my opinion and probably would only be made to further progress some young actors career.

To remake movies just to make them PC, is wrong too in my opinion.

That is unless they were racially offensive for some reason.  Then it probably shouldn't be dug up anyway.

This discussion should probably be suited for another forum though. ThumbsUp

I always thought "A Murder of Crows"(1998)would be a good movie to remake.

Cuba Gooding Jr, Tom Berenger, Eric Stoltz, and Mark Pellegrino did a fine job of acting in it.

However this one could have been done better with a bigger budget.

The story is timeless so it would translate well.

Also...  how damn hard is it to make a good version of Salem's Lot?

All of them made pretty much suck.

For that matter...  why doesn't someone take Stephen King's horror novels and make them into decent flicks.

If they're gonna be unoriginal why not just use that technology to make them closer to the novel?

Instead they remake what looks like a horrible Ghostbusters?!?   SMDH.

Another movie that would benefit from a remake would be "The Prophecy"(1995)

It had a fine cast : Christopher Walken, Vigo Mortensen, Eric Stoltz, Virginia Madsen, Adam Goldberg

Better cinematography and effects would have made it a very good movie IMO.

Lucie, you should've made her watch Unforgiven for the 1993 movie.... maybe that was 92, but it was late in the year if it was.

Odd years are hers and even years are my choice.

There are so many she hasn't seen that we will be doing the multiple times.   We are really having a good time doing it and it's nice for me to see them all again.
