bengal/pats predictions
#1
Is it too late to predict an upset? Hope springs eternal so I'm (not) going to predict a BIG upset with the bengals sacking TB 11 times to end his career in Cincinnati for good and Mixon running for 230 yards and TB hauling in 3 TDs..
How about a 45-0 defeat and one step closer to the #1 pick?

It's going to be the most interesting game of the year for the Bengals. I still think the Pats win but would not be shocked if we won.
Key matchups when Pats have ball
James White & Rex Buckhead vs Pratt & Vigil in passing game
Key matchup when Bengals have Ball
Joe Mixon & offensive line vs Pats front 7
The Patriots are favored by 9.5 and 40 points is the over under.
Take the Bengals with the points and take under.

Jessie Bates left the Bengals and that makes me sad!

pats 41 bungles 10 poor coaching and poor playcalling and the pats are already in their heads.Pats will be fighting to get into the superbowl again. If they have to play the ravens again, which is going to happen BB will have an answer for their running qb.

34-3 pats, didn’t see us winning this one and definitely don’t after the spy gate 2.0 news popped up. Bill doesn’t need extra motivation but I’m sure he is plenty fired up to beat the Bengals after the week he’s had

Well of defense and Run game seem to be peaking...  Which could help keep TB off the field as they have some injuries there...

The Pats despite all their recent struggles still have the #1 D in the league ! I can't imagine our 15 point average per game O doing much vs. them.

However our D has shown some improvement and of course they're struggling to put up points as well. I'd guess it'll be a close game thru 3 qtrs. then Pats pull away late.

Patriots: 27

Bengals: 13

I live in NE and the PATS are a bit over rated. They are good but they OL is failing pretty badly and Brady may not have a clean game. The issue with Brady is you rattle him and he simply doesn't perform. Similar to Dalton. This is the first time in a while Brady OL isn't really protecting him. If the Bengals DL can get to him and often the Bengals maybe able to pull an upset, especially if the OL can help the running game and allow Dalton some time to make completed passes.

My opinion is Coach Zac Taylor is beat down, worn down and just exhausted from this crazy season,he has had a ton of key injuries which happens all the time with this team and he is just flat out beat. He is not near as upbeat as he was at the beginning. The players are just going through the motions and the Pats are going to just kill us.We will get a top 4 pick in this draft.A.J. is probably going to play next week and into the last game. His injury was very serious,I had foot surgery on my right foot and it took me 2 years to be myself again and I now have stiffness in that foot every day,but I am kinda like a old guy.I really enjoy reading all you Bengal Fans, especially Harley Dog. Keep up with the posts. WHO-DEY!!!!!

Although BB is a great coach, I don't see how he stops the Ravens and Mr. Jackson. It will come in time for sure, but don't think he has it figured out right now. Guy is amazing. Also, when your at the game Sunday, raise your glass towards the 50yd line and take a drink for HD. Magical things happen when you do that as my seats were on the 50, and it usually worked for me. Well, until playoffs, then it doesn't work. Plus, on times it didn't work? I think Fred was there trying to hand out summons to people that were booing.   :paul:

Anyway:
Patriots 24
Bengals 17.

We're averaging 16 points a game, and some of you have us scoring in the mid to upper 20s against the best defense in the league?

I don't care how bad the Pats have looked, they're gonna whoop our ass.

34 - 13 Patriots.
I'm gonna break every record they've got. I'm tellin' you right now. I don't know how I'm gonna do it, but it's goin' to get done.

Bengals have to beat the Pats to complete my prediction of 4-1 to finish the season so that they'll make this season truly pointless.

This is no lie. I expect the Pats defense to absolutely suffocate this offense and then TB is going to dink-and-dunk down the field.

Patriots 27-7

Too many more hits like Jackson took early in that game last night will stop Lamar. I'm not being snarky in any way. I'm pulling for the guy cause he's on my fantasy team. He got blasted on that play by a clean hit. There's a shelf life to that style of play, and he's at his peak at the moment.

Very true. That style is very career shortening. Like you, I also have him in a different league and has really racked up some points. However, when compared to Vick and RGIII he has better accuracy with his throws and is better than avg. in the pocket. That may buy him a few more years. Yet, as you mentioned, a few good hits can easily change things.

Bengals red zone woes continue. They get in the red zone 5 times but mange just 3 FG's.

Robert Kraft hosts Trump in his downtown presidential suite for a party with hookers and porn stars. Belichick has a camera crew there to film "a day in the life of the owner" segment unbeknownst to Kraft. Belichick denies any involvement. NFL strips team from Kraft and hands to Belichick who is now Owner/Head Coach. Trump gets impeached as video surfaces.
