Jones absolutely makes everyone on that d-line better. Don’t know why nicomo is acting baffled

Of course he does. He’s a future hall of famer. That doesn’t mean other players aren’t good in their own right though. Was Dunlap not good because he played with Geno?

Jones missed 1 game last year, and they lost 21-20 to a very good Lions team lol

Bates would have amazing games here. But most of the time he had average games.

Maybe it was coaching/scheme with him too?

in the playoffs he became great.

I believe, and it was pretty much confirmed, that Bates wasnt playing his hardest due to not getting a new contract.

well now he has his money, and he plays like playoff Bates down in atlanta

I don't like using Chief's players as any kind of measuring stick simply because they get to play by different rules than the rest of the league not named TJ TWatt.

The Bengals didn't sign Bell & Stone as FAs because they some master Dax Hill plan to get him to CB. They said all along that he had to compete and were hopeful it worked out. Alllll of the reporters said Hill was in a dogfight at the position. The Bengals have no good CBs at this point. To say Dax was the best of them is honestly just wild and, even if true, isn't the flowers it sounds like.

What good does it do hitting the "next big thing" thing in the lottery when the Browns wont pay them what they are worth? They leave and make other teams better. Bates is just one example of many..

Nah, I got the point. It’s just been well covered that it’s looking like a huge mistake not paying Bates.

And yes, wasting Burrow’s prime is the #1 fear. QB’s like him don’t fall in your lap that often.
