It's just that he was due $18 million this year, so effectively they added a 4 year $132 million to this year. "The Seattle Seahawks are trading wide receiver DK Metcalf to the Pittsburgh Steelers, who are signing the two-time Pro Bowler to a five-year, $150 million contract, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter." https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/44184542/sources-seahawks-trading-star-wr-dk-metcalf-steelers RE: Free Agency - pulses - 03-09-2025 Well according to cincyjungle we're interested in Morgan Moses ??? WHAT??? RE: Free Agency - Nepa - 03-09-2025 (7 hours ago)samhain Wrote: Steelers getting Metcalf doesn't worry me. The contract kind of does. The family waiting things out just keeps driving up prices on these players. Got a kick out of the term "the family," instead of the organization or front office. Think I'll use that from now on. I've used it interchangeably with the terms you mentioned for as long as I can remember. Makes me wonder is something is wrong with OBJ that they don't see as fixable in the sort-term. Yikes. Also makes me wonder if they are so stupid and stubborn that they would rather play an aging (but pretty good) RT to play guard. Double Yikes. I would guess they are looking at Moses for the starting RG position while giving the team flexibility to move him to RT if Mims were to get injured. The Bengals value flexibility on the offensive line and having Moses play RG while having the ability to play RT is appealing. If the Bengals just wanted a RG, Zeitler would be a better choice for an older offensive lineman. RE: Free Agency - BenZoo2 - 03-09-2025 If obj misses time could mins go left and Moses play rt? I haven’t heard anything about obj potentially missing any time RE: Free Agency - Bengalbug - 03-09-2025 Big money deals today: ?Bills QB Josh Allen: 6-years, $330M ?Steelers WR DK Metcalf: 5-years, $150M ?Browns DE Myles Garrett: 4-years, $160M ?Rams WR Davante Adams: 2-years, $46M ?Chiefs LB Nick Bolton: 3-years, $45M. ?Patriots OLB Harold Landry: 3-years, $43.5M. ?Jets LB Jamien Sherwood: 3-years, $45M. ?Seahawks LB Ernest Jones IV: 3-years, $33M. ?Seahawks DT Jarran Reed: 3-years, $25M. ?Vikings RB Aaron Jones: 2-years, $20M RE: Free Agency - 007BengalsFan - 03-09-2025 (5 hours ago)Bengalbug Wrote: Big money deals today: I would rather pay Davante Adams 23 million a year + get a 2nd round draft pick by trading Tee vs paying Tee 30 million dollars being hurt a lot of the time and getting no draft picks. He was the one FA WR, where you could bank on similar, or better, production over the next two years. Plus an asset, or two. RE: Free Agency - michaelsean - 03-09-2025 Three major players to deal with and they haven’t done a thing with any of them. I think they are completely overwhelmed and I’m starting to feel they sign Chase, let Tee play on the tag and let Trey finish his final year. Any hope these deals would get done are over. Todays deals were that devastating. |
