How exactly were you able to see that they were "getting close to getting on the same page.  All I saw as our run game being stuffed.  Mixon had a total of 4 yards on his last 5 carries.

If Taylor had not abandoned the running game and ran Mixon another 20 times for 40 yards you would be crucifying him for that also.

Absolutely. And please, please, PLEASE use more than Mixon. After seeing T.Williams mess up a few assignments when Burrow was healthy, I get why they may not trust RBs not named Mixon, but with a focus on running the ball this back end of a potentially lost season, they could simplify the offense for not only Jake, but their RB room as well. I'm ready to see if Williams, Evans, and Brown can run behind this line. If they can, that speaks to the ineffectiveness of Mixon. If they can't, then we'll know it's personnel / scheme and can make decisions on that going forward this off-season.

Wouldn't be surprised if Mike Brown has hired his last head coach for the Bengals. Let's say Zach has 5-7 years left in Cincy. Mike has, what, 5-7 years left... on earth? Honestly don't know which way I'd lean. If it were listed on a sportsbook it would be a Pick 'Em.

I'm pretty sure there was at least 1 person saying now Zac has a contract for life when he made the superbowl and it was not in a positive light.

Well he's the HC, that's up to him right? So he takes blame for not taking a greater role, or lesser role. IMO he deserves a lot of blame for how terrible the offense looks compared to how it probably should with the players on the team, even during the playoff runs. Like with Burrow and 3 top WRs you have no run game at all? Like you can't figure out how to have a run game with Mixon when teams are trying to defend your pass.

When LeBron took the trash cavs team to the finals mike brown (the cavs coach) won coach of the year, it was hilarious because it was obvious all lebron. I think a lot of credit is Burrow not Zac, are we thinking otherwise? I hope Jake Brown proves otherwise. The Browns paid a **** ton of money to their QB too and their team doesn't 100% collapse, it's funny ot think the Browns could still win the superbowl without their starting QB or starting RB and we think we might go winless the rest of the season lol. Yes it's hard to win without your best player, though.

Sean Mcvay won a superbowl and has an eidetic memory, Zac does not afaik.

That being said the Bengals are probably 7-3 and not 5-5 if Burrow was healthy and not as many people would be talking bout this even though the run game is glaringly absent.

If by "take a greater role", you mean expand the offensive game plan, then I would be all about it.

I may only agree with this because it is the only change we are likely to see and I think the committee thing is a built in excuse for Taylor as he is not the only one responsible. Do it and then no more excuses.

That is your view, i don;t share the same view but in the end it is just opinions but regardless of opinions results are not opinions and still can't take away the results this team has had under Taylor.

If Zac Taylor would stop running an offense that is directly contributing to hurting the best player this team has ever had, I would support him.

Much like Brady, JB is the one driving the team. ZT has failed to produce a running game or adequate pass protection to help Joe.

He and Frank pollack have lost my confidence and support.

Yep. Firing Zac isn't a realistic option until he fails to make the playoffs 3 or 4 years in a row.

I remember the 6-25-1 result without Burrow or whatever horrendous start it was. So yeah Taylor is associated with Burrow's success, won't be able to separate the 2 other than that stat.
