Dalton was picking on CTB like he was an undrafted rookie back there.

I'm rooting for the kid, seems like a good dude. You never hear him off the field and lately he's been a CB who you don't hear anything about on the field and that's a good thing.

The same can be said about DJ Turner. The crazy thing is, I viewed DJ Ivey as our CB with the best potential last year.

Hi! How did you manage to get the images to show? I tried twice and the images were invisible after embedding.

looks like Volson is figuring things out which is good to see. I thought Mims did well, I guess not. O. Brown pass blocking is steller. Burrow is having a clean pocket for the first time as a Bengal. I thought Burrow would be in the mid to upper 80s by now. He is probably still getting his wrist back to normal. The defense is scary bad. Damn.

How many people at PFF review each game?

Is it an average of multiple opinions or is it just one person's opinion this week?

I don't see it as Dax Hill being a good defender . . . I see it as almost the entire Bengals defense playing like shit right now. If Dax Hill learned how to read an angle on a tackle and would try tackling ankles instead of hips, he probably wouldn't suck so much.

As for “trusting your eyes” it’s just virtually impossible to watch all 11 players on every play unless you’re breaking down film with All 22.

I am no scout by any means, but if I watch a game and a players does well, and looks like he did well, I would trust that over a rando PFF grade.

Not trying to grade every player, just stating the PFF grades are just another person's opinion.

Nothing more, nothing less.

I was surprised by posters who said Mims did "outstanding" last game. I didn't counter that view prior to the PFF grades being posted, because I didn't focus only on Mims. But the PFF grades back up my eye test on when I did view Mims. It has been two games in a row now where he completely whiffed on blocking his man, barely getting a touch on him at all. Last game, that resulted in Burrow scrambling for his life and throwing the interception.

Mims is a brand new rookie, without NFL experience, so I'm not concerned. But I would not label his performance "outstanding" to date and the PFF grades reflect that his pass blocking has been poor.
