I mean, I guess you gotta cut it off somewhere, but I do not see a meaninful difference there. Though Brown is consistently RB2 while almost all of Turner's snaps (over 50) came last week.
Point being, guys like Turner, ADG, and Jenkins have all been pretty good to very good on limited snaps.
Yeah, I don't see a big difference there either.
Jenkins seems to be getting better with each snap! Even with the club. I've really been impressed with Akeem this year, albeit limited action.

Zach Carter should never see the field again and Hubbard should never play on obvious passing downs again. Murphy can't get back soon enough.

I didn't counter that view prior to the PFF grades being posted, because I didn't focus only on Mims. But the PFF grades back up my eye test on when I did view Mims. It has been two games in a row now where he completely whiffed on blocking his man, barely getting a touch on him at all. Last game, that resulted in Burrow scrambling for his life and throwing the interception.
Mims is a brand new rookie, without NFL experience, so I'm not concerned. But I would not label his performance "outstanding" to date and the PFF grades reflect that his pass blocking has been poor.
He is vulnerable to the inside swim move, as is Orlando at times, this is an issue with the largest linemen (Trent Brown too). Mims keeps working with OBJr he will hopefully figure it out.

Grain of salt everyone.
Trust your eyes.
Never heard that, but PFF is just a tool, nothing more nothing less.
There is a reason real football people ignore it. Fans do love to slurp it up though.

They use PFF stats on the Sunday night games so real football people do use it when its showing up on broadcasts of games. As far as players paying for better grades, I dont believe it. That claim sounds like disgruntled players unhappy with their grade or unhappy someone else grades out better. I do agree that it is a tool amongst many you can look at.

There was a piece about it. I do agree though, it it like politics. People cite biased sources when it favors them and ignore it when it does not.

C Brown is at 29.51%

He's really developed nicely at CB. It seems like he just wasn't a great fit for safety.

I'm not sure which scout or coach was all in on Zach Carter, but they need their head examined. A lot of fans and some media members were scratching their heads with the pick and he's done nothing with the opportunities given to him.
You can always trust an dishonest man to be dishonest. Honestly, it's the honest ones you have to look out for.

PFF has one of the best analytics departments and actually have special analytics for Teams and Media during the season. Their grades on the other hand are junk. Example they only grade Defensive Backs in coverage at the catchpoint.

IF "real" football people ignore it, then why would players pay to raise their scores? To impress "non-real" football people?

I hope he turns out to be a good one. Still needs to improve tackling, but I guess we can say that about pretty much everyone on the defense this year.

Not trying to grade every player, just stating the PFF grades are just another person's opinion.
Nothing more, nothing less.
The people at PFF look at plays and players much closer and spend much more time than you and I do.
They go through the All 22 tape and evaluate every play for every player, rating each individual play and then coming up with a cumulative grade from that.
I put more stock in them than some rando's eye test.
Most eye tests only catch plays that involve the ball and people tend to only remember a few plays each game out of 50+ snaps.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. If he can turn this into a playoff appearance, it will be impressive.
Sorry for Party Rocking!
