I can't believe this narrative of not clutch has any traction among our fans.
There's been 4 losses this year where the offense had a chance to score on their final drive and win, but didn't. I'm not saying they're "not clutch" as it's pretty clear the primary problems are the defense and ST (with the offense's inability to run for 1st downs next). I am still riding with Burrow as my QB in a heartbeat, I am just saying it's admittedly not great look when your QB hasn't had a 4th quarter comeback or a game winning drive since 2022 and I can see where that type of talk might start up or get fed.

I would love that too, but zac is stubborn, and this offense wasnt built for that. If they can upgrade the interior with 2 moves, and you're lacking weapons outside of chase next year, I would LOVE to have a more balanced attack that can eat up clock when needed.
but zac just wants to throw it. I remember when Zac was getting a ton of crap for running it too much, now people are wanting him to run it more lol. The run game still isnt very efficient though. I would love for frank pollack to leave

Keep the same rosters and same injuries happen. Put Campbell on Bengals and Taylor on Lions. I believe the Lions would need to win out to reach playoffs and Bengals would be in a 3 way tie with the Chiefs and Bills for the 1 seed. Just an educated guess

Jesus what? Why the **** is it so hard to see that the offense is playing great to be in a position to win the game but up to now, they've not been able to finish?
That doesn't mean they're at fault. The defense has been atrocious and Burrow gets pummelled all game long. Does that mean we ignore the fact that the offense rolls all game but then when they need one drive, they've come up short?
A ***** key cog in the offense just said they've not been able to finish but you want to chalk it up to politically correct?
Go ahead and live in your excuse filled world. I'm done with this stupid assed idiotic back and forth.

has a bottom 3 scoring defense ever made the playoffs with a winning record? Im actually curious. Im thinking it probably haapened once in nfl history. So we are expecting Joe to be historic and do something that has prob never been done before, or just once ever

Yes. The 2000 Rams were 10-6 and lost in the Wildcard with the 31st (out of 31) scoring defense. Helps when you have Kurt Warner, Torry Holt, Marshall Faulk, and Isaac Bruce. Lol... 3 HoFers and a 4th guy who is a finalist who will probably eventually get in (and a 5th HoFer at LT in Orlando Pace).
Kurt Warner nearly did it again with the 2008 Cardinals being 9-7 with the 28th ranked scoring defense (so bottom 5 rather than bottom 3) and ended up NFC Champions that year.
I'm sure there's more but I wasn't going to be that thorough.
(The 10-7 Raiders had the 26th scoring defense when we beat them in the first round of the playoffs in 2021.)

oh so the greatest show on turf did it. And then Warner went 9-7 with Boldin, Fitzgerald, and Edgerrin James
so its a little much to ask burrow to overcome this situation

To be fair to Allen he didn't blink (throw a int / fumble return for TD).
You watch that game and you see.... No offense to Burrow, but Allen is superior.

Lol, the previous 3 years Josh Allen had 47 INT and 28 Fum. This is only the second year out of 7 that Allen hasn't been a turnover machine, and the first was 4 years ago.
Also despite the score from a sample size of just 1 game last night potentially suggesting otherwise, the Bills still have the 8th scoring defense this year and in 4 of his 6 other years Allen's had a top-4 scoring defense.

Allen is a better QB there is no debate.

Nah, he's bigger and probably a better runner, but I don't think he's 'superior". I have old family in Buffalo. Ask them about JB. They don't want no part of JB,JC, and Tee.
Those three worry Bills fan! They're thankful that we're pretty much out of it. The last team that they want waltzing into Orchard Park is Cincy and those three dudes!
I think 'superior" is probably a poor choice of verbiage.

If the ball is put in your $275M QBs hands with a chance to extend or win the game, he should be able to do that at least half the time.
I already did a "how many leads" thread where i broke down how 1 score games ended. But that takes a back seat when your QB has the ball in his hands at the end of the game with a chance to win.
GWD since '21:
Allen - 10. A total of 21 in his 6 year career. Zero in the playoffs and zero in the SB.
Burrow - 7 total in his 5 year career. 2 in the playoffs and zero in the SB. None since 2022.
Jackson - 9. A total of 12 in his 7 year career. Zero in the playoffs and zero in the SB.
Mahomes - 15. A total of 22 in his 8 year career. 6 in the playoffs and 3 in the SB.
Those are the 4 guys that most would say are the best in the NFL over the last few years.
Goff - 11. 19 in his 8 year career. 2 in the playoffs and zero in the SB. (actually 20 total after last night).
Cousins - 15. 31 in his 13 year career. 1 in the playoffs and zero in the SB.
Tua - 7. 9 in his 5 year career. Zero in the playoffs and zero in the SB.
Herbert - 12. 15 in his 5 year career. Zero in the playoffs and zero in the SB.
Stafford - 9. 47 in his 16 year career. 3 in the playoffs and 1 in the SB.
At some point, even the most ardent homers need to be able to call a spade a spade. Burrow is the 2nd best QB in the NFL and arguably the best in the NFL, stats-wise, this year. He also fails to win games at the end...a lot, when the ball is in his hands and the opportunity is right there.
So...what? Are we trying to say he does so much during the game that he's worn himself out and just doesn't have the juice to pull out that one last drive? Are we excusing him because he does so well in the first 55 minutes?
You can. I won't.
So having to have multiple game winning drives every game is your definition of clutch? You're literally blaming Joe & not the D. You drink too much.

There's only a possiblity of one GWD in each game. Maybe you're right. Maybe me and Ja'Marr drink too much.
