Hmm.
Everything in this post is my fault.

Wasn't Golden let go by the Bengals, or did his contract expire?
I thought it was the former.

If it was, I would think he wouldn't want to consider the Bengals.
I know I'd hold animosity toward a former employer if they showed me the door then wanted me back years later.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. Ended 9-8 but barely missed playoffs

Changes needed to do better in Sept/Oct moving forward.

Sorry for Party Rocking!

Hi have been fantasizing the same thing.   But I think he must be very happy with his gig.  just the right hours, fewer headaches, get to get paid for voicing your opinion and having a great team to work with.

Honestly he's the guy I'd want for a head coaching job.  Dude is just so smart.

OL or Assistant OL would be a good starting point if he wanted a Coaching career i think.

But it likely pays less than the broadcast booth

Yup, get that Amazon money and that commercial money. Work about 1/10th the hours of a coach and spend the rest of the time with your family.

Sure hope so, I don't like the resume' of the 2 dudes they already interviewed. They are Belichick disciples and that is all they got going for them IMO.

Christian Parker of the Eagles for DC would be an up and coming guy that I would like.

He left to join Freeman at ND. But I thought I read somewhere his family is still in Cincy.
Romo “ so impressed with Zac ...1 of the best in the NFL… they are just fundamentally sound. Taylor the best winning % in the Playoffs of current coaches. Joe Burrow” Zac is the best head coach in the NFL & that gives me a lot of confidence." Taylor led the Bengals to their first playoff win since 1990, ending the longest active drought in the four major North American sports, en and appeared in Super Bowl LVI, the first since 1988.

That makes Golden still a possibility and I am fine with him. Just not the 2 guys we interviewed please...

They had one of the best players in the league on defense but the cheap skates didn't want to pay him..Jesse Bates..

The Bengals FO in a nutshell..
