I have seen a 101 suggestions  and projections by a 101 different sports news organizations  and writers  regarding the upcoming draft...but the really cool thing..if this team stays healthy I think its gonna be a great year..I think we will see at least a DL, OL and linebacker taken by the team in the draft

I'm seeing a few possibilities for trade partners, like the Eagles, the Bears giving us their #10 pick for him so they don't risk taking an unproven rookie, and a few others, so I'm gaining hope as of today.

I'm getting excited with 11 days til the draft!

Facts don't care about your feelings. BIG THANKS to Holic for creating that gif!

Trade chart-wise, that's roughly equivalent to the Bengals getting the 22nd or 23rd pick in the 1st round (right between the two in value).

Many experts are saying only 15 sure fire picks in 2025 draft.

The 22 or 23rd pick would be the NFL sack leader for a maybe.

No thanks if I am the Bengals

Things like that are said most every year. Yet just like any other year, some "can't miss" prospects will flounder and some late round steals will impress on the field.

Volson is meh, but I like him, and he has far exceeded my expectations

You are correct, but that does dismiss the facts it is common for first round picks to not being a stud in year 1 or never. The further the pick is from #1, the more likely the pick is not a stud.

I think fans get in their heads since it is the 1st round, teams are idiots if they miss. Reality is the 17th pick in the draft is not close to the 1st pick of a non-QB in the draft. I mention QB as many teams draft a QB in first 5 rounds only for it to fail miserably.

I have always said once a player is drafted, it is irrelevent when they were picked. You are correct many 3rd round picks and later outperform 1st round picks so in the end, a team can miss on a 1st round pick, but hit big time on the 4th round pick making it a wash as far as success rate.

I hope we hit a homerun, but my point is it is far from a slam dunk for many reasons to performance to injury will determine a 1st round player's success.

As we head to the draft in 7 days, the off season is winding down. After the draft, we may have some roster movement, but usually not a lot based on our history. We only have 6 picks to get better, that is a huge negative in my opinion as this draft seems to have a lot of very good players from 30 to 75. We have one pick in that range at #49. Draft position matters since we only have 6 picks and we are in the middle of every round.

I am an optimist, but am I being overly optimistic we can use the draft to get us back into the playoffs and hopefully win a Super Bowl in 2025?

Are you optimistic or pessiistic heading into the draft?
