Lions sounds like they regret the Reader contract.

A lot of the draft "Experts" had no Buckeyes in Rd 1. That's 3 with Simmons still a possibility to KC.

Simmons has a patellar injury, no? May be risky.

Yep, I think that is why we passed on him at 17.

We didn't want injury or character issues so we went with untapped talent. We will see how it works out.

Honestly, none of the rest of the picks really piss me off except I was hoping the stealers would of taken Shedeur so Deon could mess with them.

Dax, Murphy, Stewart could end up being an absolutely brutal run of 1st round picks. The kind that can set a franchise back for multiple years.

Could be, I still like Dax a lot if he can stay healthy and think Murphy and Stewart are extremely talented, but this could really hurt our D if these
guys don't start to show up like the first round studs they are supposed to be really soon. We needed new coaches, these new ones need to be up
to the task no doubt about it.

I hope Simmons does go to KC. OSU tackles absolutely suck in the NFL.

Stewart was a disastrous pick - Zabel was right there and he actually would have directly addressed a HUGE need.

Damn. Eagles traded up one spot with the Chiefs. Interesting. Clearly thought the Chiefs were going to pick the guy they really want.

Bama Tackles too as of late. I thought JC Latham was okay though last year, not near as good as Mims, but decent.

KC OL is in deep trouble.  Mahomes was the most hit QB in the league last year and they dealt They.

I have hope in Dax.  I dont Murphy or Stewart.  I think Dax will have a good year.

Eagles get Campbell because of course they do and the Chiefs franchise LT falls in to their lap too.

Tonight has not gone well to put it mildly.

Harmon was also still there.  He had more sacks and pressures than Nolen.

The Eagles do it again.

They keep drafting the "falling" elite prospects on defense.

His 21 run stops on 575 run-defense snaps gives him a run stop rate of 3.7 percent, 203rd out of 204 among edge rushers drafted this decade.

Not sure why they traded up one spot for him though. KC wasn't going to take him. They pretty much threw away a 5th round pick.

Then again, who the hell am I to judge a team that just won the Super Bowl?

It's why the Eagles and Chiefs are who they are and why the Bengals are who they are.
